PHYTON Annales rei botanicae
is an international botanical journal, its IPNI abbreviation is “Phyton (Horn)”. The journal was founded in 1948 by Prof. Friedl Weber and Prof. Felix J. Widder at the University of Graz. The aim of PHYTON is the publication of scientific papers from all major fields of plant science (Botany, Phytology).

All articles are published instant online and in one printed volume at the end of the year.

Manuscript submission:

Please send all manuscripts to the managing editor christian.scheuer@uni-graz.at preferably as e-mail attachments. If the files are too large, the manuscript can also be transferred by a ‘file service’. If inevitable, manuscripts can also be sent to the managing editor on a USB flash drive:
