Vietorchis Aver. & Averyanova is regarded as congeneric with Silvorchis J. J. Smith. It belongs to Orchidaceae-Orchidoideae-Orchideae-Orchidinae. The new combination Silvorchis furcata (Aver. & Nuraliev) Ole?drz. & Szlach. is presented here. Vietorchidinae are reduced to a synonym of Orchidinae.
